Technical Writer

Key responsibilities：
1. Collabrate closely with subject matter experts from Engineering and TPS, to develop high-quality English product manuals according to company guidelines; ensure the readability, accuracy and completeness of the information
2. Send documentation through review and implement feedbacks
3. Update the existing manuals per R&D's request to keep the manual content up to date
4. Release manuals based on the production schedule and ensure the manual on-time delivery
5. Review the technical content prepared by other team members
6. Research new solutions to improve the existing processes
7. Aid in developing the AMEC Information Center Web site, including the content design, Web structure design, etc
8. Lead initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and influence of the Technical Commnications team
Key requirement：
1. Required BA or BS in a relevant field, such as Technical Communication, Technical English, or Engineering
2. Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Chinese, with a focus on quality and details
3. Strong communication (verbal and written) and coordination skills
4. In-depth knowledge of publication tools, such as Arbortext Editor and FrameMaker
5. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office tools
6. Knowledge of XML publishing and single-source structured authoring
7. Knowledge of user experience, user-centered and visual design principles is a plus
8. Able to quickly learn and understand complex technical topics; willing to acquire new knowledge
9. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical publication role
