Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert product requirements into technical.
• Create and maintain architecture and design documentation for web services
(API specifications, UMLs, application flows)
• Lead software engineering teams to develop software that meets business
needs.
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals and Manage
team members on schedule, task assignment, progress management, and
report.
• Contribute to software development guidelines and standards and promote
their adoption within the engineering team.
• Advocate code quality and good documentation among team members.
• Support production issues troubleshooting.
• Innovate constantly and keep systems up to date with current technologies.
• Develop and ship applications using the best CI/CD practices.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience with developing software applications/Web service
and 5+ years working experience in Java or Kotlin or other JVM based
languages.
• Solid knowledge and experience in popular development frameworks
(VertX/Log4J/Junit/Spring, etc.)
• Solid knowledge and experience in various relational and non-relational
databases (Oracle/MySQL/Redis/Cassandra, etc.)
• Familiar with distributed system development, Profound understanding of
software architecture, microservice architecture, software design patterns,
data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills, experience in leading, coordinating and
guiding a team of engineers to participate in the entire project cycle to
complete demand delivery.
• Capability of development independently with highly efficient self-study skill of
technology
• Solid knowledge of non-functional aspects such as Availability, Scalability, and
Performance.
• Experience with designing and developing high-performance, scalable web
applications and services.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge:
• Japanese companies/Japan related working experience. (understand Japan
Culture)
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• CI/CD, GCP related work experience
• Confluence/Jira
Education:
• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Language:
• English: Business Level (proposal, technical discussion, report)
