• Technical Leadership: Lead the architecture, design, and development of high-performance, low-latency trading systems.
• System Performance & Resilience: Drive optimizations for latency, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Collaboration: Partner with traders, quantitative analysts, and infrastructure teams to enhance system capabilities.
• Team Development: Mentor and upskill engineers, fostering a strong engineering culture.
Key Requirements:
• Experience: 5-8 years for AVP, 10 years for VP in front office technology.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Java for high-performance systems.
• Market Knowledge: Strong understanding order management, and risk management.
• Performance Optimization: Experience in low-latency architectures, multithreading, and high-throughput systems.
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a tier-1 multinational bank.
