Project Description:
This project involves a comprehensive testing program for TCU and T-Box components, ensuring compliance with performance, reliability, and regulatory standards. The scope includes functional validation, environmental testing, and connectivity performance assessment. Our team will provide end-to-end support, from test planning and execution to issue tracking and reporting, leveraging industry best practices and cutting-edge testing methodologies to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
• Reviews, analyzes, and understands system requirements specifications and creates manual test cases, by using the appropriate test design techniques.
• Performs software validation for one or more domains of new Telematics Unit based product (Cellular Network, eSIM, Wi-Fi, BT/BLE Connectivity, Positioning, Diagnostics, Networking, Vehicle Network (CAN, Ethernet) on test benches and test vehicles.
• Applies specifications, user guides, use cases, comparable products, and previously known bugs, to create and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test cases.
• Creates Test cases and Test specification.
• Performs test preparation and execution (including test drives).
• Performs test analysis and test evaluation.
• Performs manual software testing. Performs session-based exploratory testing.
• Performs endurance-based testing or lifecycle testing to verify the functionalities over a long period of ignition cycles.
• Identifies software and transfers problem issues into the issue tracking system with supporting log files and data.
• Verifies the fixes for the software issues identified and reported.
• Records, processes, and analyzes data with PC based tools and test instrumentation.
• Documents testing and creates test reports.
• Collaborates with different departments.
• Participates in requirements reviews, design reviews, and other activities in the framework of an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Provides technical support for the resolution of various customer and interdepartmental issues.

Mandatory Skills Description:
• Good experience in creating and executing test cases.
• Good understanding of Automotive Telematics systems.
• Good understanding of SW and HW architecture or various platform variants.
• Proven experience in testing different Telematics domains like: NAD, eSIM, eCall, OTA, GNSS, Positioning, 4G/5G Connectivity, BT/BLE, WiFi, Vehicle Networking (CAN, Ethernet), Diagnosis, Networking.
• Working knowledge of functional and non-functional software testing, of software test life cycle, and various test design techniques.
• Bug tracking tools usage and experience in defect management.
• Test management tools usage.
• Working knowledge with Vector tools environment (CANoe, CANoe.Car2X, ...)
• Working knowledge in Jira, Confluence, versioning systems (or equivalent tools).
• Working knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
• At least one year in a product engineering or test engineering role in an embedded environment, preferably in automotive or telecom.
• Coding skills in at least one scripting language (preferably Python).
• Experience with data analysis, logs, tracing.
• Strong attention to details.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Creative problem-solver, capable of creating and reproducing interesting software bugs.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Experience with test automation.
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to operate 4G/5G simulators tools like Anritsu or Rohde&Schwarz, and WiFi, BT/BLE analyzers.
• Ability to operate LabSat equipment for positioning testing.
• Ability to operate professional programmable power supplies (Gossen) and measurement units (Keithley device), climate chamber.
• HW experience of configuring different setups.
