JOB OVERVIEW: Develops, creates, and modifies Bluetooth Firmware software. Maintain Bluetooth funcBOSS直聘tion areas on different Qualcomm platforms. Development activity involves feature implementation and bug fixes. Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions. Designs software or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Modifies existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Designs, develops, and modifies software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: • Software Engineering - Solid working experience in implementing and debugging Linux/Android BSP/driver or other embedded OS. Proven hand-on experience with C development. Understanding Linux/Android/Unix Kernel mechanism. BT working experience will be a big plus. Knowledge of the overall process for developing new software. • Communication - Can comminute in English smoothly. The ability to convey information clearly and accurately, as well as choosing the most effective method of delivery This includes using a technically sound communication style both verbally and in writing. • Building Trusting Relationships - The ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships and rapport with different types of people and businesses. • Taking Initiative - The ability to attack work activities with drive and energy, understanding the impact of work on key metrics. • Technical Documentation - Ability to appropriately document software and/or hardware specifications to promote knowledge transfer to other engineers. • Time Management - The ability to quickly prioritize mission-critical from less important or trivial work activities. • Troubleshooting - The ability to detect malfunctions in daily operations, including scheduling issues and process problems, and determining root causes and appropriate solutions for operating errors. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Master's in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience. • 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Python, etc. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 4+ years Software Engineering or related work experience. • 2+ years experience with Database Management Software. • 2+ years experience with API. • 2+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. • 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership
