这个职位可以在Calix南京研发中心工作也可以在中国大陆或台湾远程工作 Overview: - Wi-Fi technology is rapidly evolving to support more complex applications in both residential and business scenarios. - Our mission is to deliver an exceptional user experience with high speed, good coverage, and stable quality. - Antenna design is crucial for achieving excellent Wi-Fi performance. Calix is seeking an experienced antenna designer to collaborate with internal hardware teams, ODM partners, and antenna partners to develop innovative and advanced antenna systems for Calix premises ONT and GigaSpire Blast products. - This role focuses on developing antenna requirements, evaluating antenna technology, overseeing antenna development, and ensuring high-quality results for residential and business gateways in both the telecom and MSO markets. The role also involves working closely with product line leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate new antenna technologies and application scenarios. Responsibilities: - Participate in project planning, contributing to ID design, antenna technology assessment, cost analysis, and antenna requirements development. - Lead antenna evaluation and development independently, with a strong sense of product risk and competitive opportunities to make effective decisions based on the product's overall goals. - Conduct antenna pre-simulation in the initial phase to select the best antenna technology and propose it to the product design team for further discussion. - Lead antenna design implementation with ODM partners and antenna suppliers from simulation to verification and tuning. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration, wireless compliance, and production feasibility. - Review ODM and antenna supplier deliverables to ensure antenna quality. - Drive and manage the ODM antenna team and antenna suppliers to continually improve antenna development capability, processes, and quality. - Consider and implement DFX (Design for Excellence). - Identify and imbossprove potential antenna performance and design processes. - Support SWOT analysis for ODM partners and antenna suppliers, and participate in related strategy development. - Evaluate and execute test cases during internal verification, and analyze large amounts of antenna test data for supporting service purposes. - Support the extended team through continuous documentation improvement efforts, such as building knowledge databases and sharing best practices. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above in electronics, communication, or microwave-related fields. - Strong background in radiation knowledge related to antenna and wave propagation theory. - 12 years or more of antenna development experience on access network devices for residential and small/medium businesses, including both indoor and outdoor applications. - Familiarity with different types of antennas, such as PCB, FPC, LDS, and stamped metal types, with a strong solution mindset to implement suitable antennas based on application scenarios. - Proficiency in antenna design and integration processes. - Mastery of antenna and radiation simulation software like CST, HFSS, and ADS. - Experience using mechanical design software and PCB design tools to support antenna design. - Pkanzhunroven ability to work cross-functionally. - Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to gain buy-in for initiatives. - Demonstrated ability to deliver results while managing multiple projects simultaneously, with good prioritization and time management skills. Preferred qualifications: - Wi-Fi experience is preferred, with knowledge of antenna system design and characterization to address wireless regulatory requirements for US, Canada, EU, and UKCA markets. - Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is preferrbossed.
